I am currently a researcher at Nagoya University, working with Prof. Ryuichiro Higashinaka on full-duplex spoken dialogue systems and their deployment on conversational robots in real-world settings. I obtained my Ph.D. in Intelligence Science and Technology from Kyoto University under the supervision of Prof. Tatsuya Kawahara. My research centers on spoken dialogue systems and human-robot interaction, aiming to build systems that recognize users' emotions and personalities from multimodal signals, generate empathetic and personality-aware responses, and adapt to individual users through user modeling and preference-adaptive reinforcement learning.
